65 or Older – You have a valid ID from the list below that shows you are 65 years of age or older.
Documentation Required: Copy of Birth Certificate, Valid State Driver’s License, State ID Card, Passport, Government Employee ID Card, Alien Registration Card or Consulate ID Card.
Letter of Credit – You have been a customer of any electric utility; can demonstrate you are not currently delinquent in payment; and have not had more than one late payment over the past twelve (12) consecutive months of service.
Documentation Required: Valid Letter of Credit/Good Standing must be sent from provider to provider.
Victim of Family/Domestic Violence – You have been determined to be a victim of family violence.
Documentation Required: This determination must be evidenced by submission of a certification letter developed by the Texas Council on Family Violence. The certification letter may be submitted directly to Stream.
Existing Customer – You have been a current Stream customer for 12 consecutive months or longer with no past due balance or disconnection notices.
Documentation Required: Customer Name and existing Customer Account Number.
Military – You are active Military personnel.
Documentation Required: Military orders that are less than 6 months old.
The one-time refundable deposit of $200 will be refunded after you’ve made 12 (or 24 for non-residential) consecutive one-time payments or upon termination of service. Eligible customers may qualify for the option to pay the deposit in two equal installments with proof of low income.
