At Stream, our customers are very important to us, and we want to provide you with the help you need to get your electricity bill back on track. If you’re struggling financially, we can help. Feel free to reach out via chat or by calling us at 1-888-685-7693 from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. CT Monday – Friday or from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT Saturday and Sunday with any questions you may have.

You could qualify for local agency help.

If you need assistance paying your bill, you may qualify to receive help through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program that provides financial aid to individuals or families to help with energy costs.

With payment assistance, you can:
  • Avoid paying late fees.
  • Get help with a portion or your entire bill and stress less about how you will pay it.
  • Stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

To determine eligibility, call 2-1-1 or visit 211texas.org to see what community assistance programs are available in your area. If you go to the website, enter “Electric Bill Assistance” in the search field along with your Zip Code to search for local programs.

Please note that it could take up to 8 weeks to receive financial assistance. Bear in mind that assistance is given at the discretion of local agencies to eligible customers and not directly administered from 2-1-1.
